Danish composer August Enna (1859-1939) was influenced by Wagner and created operas such as "The Match-Seller. The opera "Cleopatra" was premiered at the Royal Opera House in Copenhagen on February 7, 1894, and was performed in 20 performances between 1895 and 1897, It was also performed to great acclaim 50 times in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Breslau, Riga, Zurich, Antwerp, Rotterdam, and The Hague.
