A feature that stands out is the Art Deco design, the big pointy acanthus foliage side handles along with the circular shape of this fabulous little sport trophy which you will fall in love with.
Biography of Robert Pringle & Sons had a workshop in Clerkenwell Road, London EC1. They ar known for making trophy cups and other silverware.
Fully hallamarked it has the makers mark for R.P. for Robert Pringle & Son, bears the sterling mark in the image of a lion passant profile from the side indicates the purity of silver being 925 silver, also Assay mark for London Leopard face & Date letter B for 1937.
There are no added personal engraved monograms or initials present, number inscribed underneath 9 600.

Since the beginning of British Silver hallmarks London was the ultimate birthplace of the tradition of hallmarking.
