Theraneem Certified-Organic Neem Oil is cold-pressed from seeds of the Indian Neem Tree. This oil contains extraordinarily high levels of antioxidants, which help protect the skin from free radicals caused by over-exposure to sun, environmental toxins and other damaging elements.

Neem oil also contains high levels of fatty acids that soak in quickly to soothe and nourish even chronically dry and itchy skin.

Neem oil has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic treatments and home remedies. It can be directly applied to the skin, diluted in your preferred carrier oil, or added to your favorite lotion or shampoo.

We use and recommend Neem oil as a biopesticide. Neem oil contains a compound called azadirachtin, which works as a repellent for various types of insects, Azadirachtin disrupts the hormone cycle of certain parasites, stopping them from growing, and makes their eggs infertile. For parasite control, use Neem oil in the following applications:

2. Apply directly to affected areas of the skin for mites (Demodex) and other skin parasites (including mosquitoes, biting midges, and fleas). Safe to use near, but not directly in, the eyes and nose.
