This striking 1970s A-line jacket is perfect for making an entrance at a glitzy event. Heavily smothered in high-shine pearlescent white sequins, it has long shimmering sleeves and a three-quarter length hemline. Tailored to a double-breasted style, the V-neckline gives way to a wrap-over front secured with four large buttons. Each button is crafted from ivory plastic and adorned with an almond-shaped pearlescent piece. The super-wide notched lapels are so of the disco-dancing era and it could make a great addition to a 1970s themed wedding ensemble. The jacket is lined in cream satin.

In wonderful vintage condition for a piece of its age and intricacy with no issues of any note or sequin loss. Unlabelled but the quality of this piece is evident in the choice of fabrics and attention to detail in the design. It retains the ILGWU union label which dates the jacket to between 1964 - 1973. Please check the measurements below carefully as the fabric has no stretch. We estimate a good fit for a range of sizes up to a UK 12-14 or US 8-12. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 31" (80cm), Waist: 25" (64cm), Hips: 34" (87cm) and Height: 5' 4" (164cm) and she's a size UK 6, US 2. This jacket looked great with lots of room to spare.
