This romantic, late 1970s to early 1980s dress is ankle-length and tailored to a classic, flattering silhouette with its nipped-in waist, rounded neckline and long-sleeves. The sheer georgette cloth is printed with birds and botanicals in fuchsia, lilac and green-blue florals against the black background. The dress is lined with a black taffeta slip, however the sleeves and the decolletage are left sheer. There is a belt at the waist in coordinating fabric. A zip secures the back of the dress and there is a keyhole cut-out at the top of the rear - this is secured with a hook-and-eye at the back of the neck. The neckline is slightly gathered.

In excellent vintage condition with no issues. The dress has sadly lost its design or retail label and is of good manufactured quality - possibly a boutique label piece. It has no size or composition label so please check the below measurements. The fabric is 100% Polyester with a lining of 100% Acetate and the fabric has no stretch. Will fit a range of sizes up to a UK 10-12, US 6-8.
