Description:
After finishing the "Meddle Tour" in 1971, the band started the "Dark Side of the Moon Tour" in January of the following year. During this tour, the prototype of the new album "Madness" was performed in the first set of concerts. Madness" was produced between and after the tour, and released in March 1973, becoming a worldwide mega-hit album. The highlight of the tour was a four-day concert at London's Rainbow Theatre in February, which was recorded for a BBC radio program, but only the previously released numbers were broadcast. This release is the result of the discovery of an audio tape of the complete concert broadcast. The set list of the day was 16 songs including encores, and this live album is a complete recording of the concert. The highlight of the concert was a prototype of "Madness" titled "Eclipse - A Piece For Assorted Lunatics" at this point, which is different from the finished product but has a unique flavor. This is the long-awaited album release that gives fans a complete picture of the concert that was truly the eve of a worldwide smash hit!
