Rory Gallagher was a soulful rock guitarist from Ireland. He released his last album "Jinx" on Chrysalis Records in 1982, and spent most of the year playing concerts. The first day of the 125-show tour was a performance as the main act at the SWF3 Festival, a rock festival in Offenburg, Germany, on January 16 of the same year. This concert was recorded and broadcast as a special program on a German FM station. This album is based on the sound recording from this broadcast, and includes the encore and the complete concert.The set list, featuring songs from his three Chrysalis albums, blues cover numbers, and Polydor-era classics, lived up to the expectations of the fans.
