Dank eines beidseitigen Öffnungssystems, das jeweils mit einer 3fach- Zentralverriegelung ausgestattet ist, lässt sich die Box einfach beladen und diebstahlhemmend abschließen. Die Dachbox wiegt 19 kg und erfüllt die hohen BMW Sicherheitsstandards hinsichtlich Crashverhalten, Betriebssicherheit und Langzeitverhalten.
