The Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle Module (29348) software activation is a one-time activation that permanently links the selected module to your Jaltest Link V9 interface. After activation, the module remains visible in the software and is non-transferable to another interface. This activation does not immediately provide usage capabilities but forms the essential basis to link the software module to your interface and eventually use it functionally.

To keep the software operational, a separate software license is required (sold separately). This license grants you access to essential software updates, new features, the most current vehicle coverage, and technical support. Without an active license, the module will remain visible in the software, but the module’s functionality cannot be used for diagnostics or other tasks. The software activation usually takes 24 to 48 hours and is automatically performed after ordering.

The Multi-Purpose Vehicle Module offers extensive diagnostic and maintenance capabilities for a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and sometimes specific systems of heavier vehicles. Some key functionalities include:

For the activation of the Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle Module, the serial number (SN) of your Jaltest Link V9 interface is required. Please enter this serial number in the comments field when placing your order. You can find the serial number of your interface in the following ways:

• Jaltest Link (interface): The serial number can be found on a sticker labeled "SN:" on the back or underside of the unit.
• Jaltest software: Start the Jaltest software and navigate to Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information. Here you will find the serial number of the connected interface.
• Packaging box: Check the original product packaging of your Jaltest Link V9 interface; the serial number is often on a sticker.
