Grape varieties: Greghetto (a.k.a. Sangiovese)
Alcohol: 13,5%
Region: Gradoli, Lazio
Winemaker: Clémentine Bouveron and Gian Marco Antonuzi
Rosso is made mainly from Greghetto, which is the local name for a small berry biotype of Sangiovese, typical in this area. And Sangiovese in these volcanic soils expresses all that the Maremma, just 10 km to the north, cannot. Sorry for my maremman friends ;). Acidity, tannin, freshness and, in this great vintage 2021, beautiful ripe fruit and deep colour.
