Just when you think a ring couldn't be more perfect, you peek inside - and in perfectly maintained, hand engraved script, a glimpse into the past: Albert et Christiane le 9-7-64. July 9 of 1964 was a Thursday, notable for a partial eclipse of the sun - and a total eclipse of the heart! Okay, I'm sorry, this ring is too good for my jokes. We're still trying to trace the European hallmark in this ring, but it looks like it might have Belgian import stamps. This would make a dreamy wedding band once more, or a fantastic every day ring, alone or in a stack.

Excellent vintage condition with light patina. Hallmarks are worn, but hand engraved personal inscription is crisp and legible.
