Hannah Caprice is a contemporary printmaker based in Melbourne, Victoria. Caprice’s work features eccentric creatures searching for solace and belonging. These themes reflect on her background being raised in a cross-cultural household, where Caprice sought comfort in being an “adaptable misfit.” Her fantastical creatures are an ode to self-acceptance.

Caprice’s 2022 etching “So long” features a hybrid cat looking up at a sky filled with flying creatures seemingly elevated by mushroom balloons.
