A mystery plate bracket that didn't make the cut for our main lineup. Maybe it has a small scratch. Maybe the color came out slightly off. Maybe it's an early prototype that works great but looks different. Maybe I just had impossibly high standards that day.

🎁 The Mystery Box Experience

Most brackets are carbon fiber nylon (black), glass fiber PPS (gray), or carbon fiber PPS (black) with occasional ASA variants making appearances. You might get something that looks nearly perfect, or something with obvious battle scars. It's a surprise!

❓ Why Didn't These Make the Cut?

Various reasons: cosmetic imperfections, minor functional quirks, prototypes that evolved, catty-wampus material application, or my perfectionist tendencies kicking in at inconvenient times. Maybe I just wasn't feeling it. Honestly... I've looked at some of these and I have no idea why I marked them as a blem in the first place.

Fun fact: About 30% of rejects were so spectacularly awful they went straight to the trash. You're getting the "premium" rejects". Lucky you!

Ready for a little mystery? Grab a reject bracket and see what lands in your mailbox. Many customers are pleasantly surprised. Others not so much.

These brackets have passed their stress and function tests, and I'm about 98% confident they'll work fine for as long as you own your car. There's definitely a chance your bracket is completely useless, but hey—that's why they're cheap. Roll the dice and embrace the chaos.

Confirmed to fit all Model 3s and Model Ys through 2026 - just make sure you pick your applicable model, as the Juniper has a different design than the pre-facelift Y.

These are available in different engineering-grade materials: carbon fiber nylon (tough and strong) and carbon fiber polyphenylene sulfide (extremely tough). Both are strong thermoplastics that are well suited for this application.

This bracket will come with a blank front face, but custom logos are available! Leave me a note at checkout, or get in touch via email/text/store chat about what you'd like.

Every bracket we make comes with 316 (marine grade) stainless steel fasteners to mount the bracket to your car, as well as to mount your license plate TO the bracket. Since a lot of folks do not like the look of stainless steel screw heads, if you opt for the standard ones, you will receive a set of UV-resistant snap-on caps to cover the screws.

Alternatively, we also offer black oxide coated 304 stainless fasteners as an option, but bear in mind that these are nowhere near as corrosion resistant as the standard 316 stainless steel ones we offer. We DO NOT recommend these for use on cars on the east coast or in the rust belt.
