The Leuze PRK318B/4P Photoelectric Sensor is a high-performance photoelectric sensor that operates on the reflection principle for precise detection in industrial applications. With a guaranteed operating range of 0.02 to 4.5 meters and a typical operating range limit of up to 6 meters when used with the TK(S) 100x100 reflector, this sensor provides reliable performance for a variety of distance measurement tasks. The sensor uses a red LED light source (620 nm) and is in the exempt group according to EN 62471, making it safe for use in various environments.

Equipped with a PNP transistor, the sensor can be used in light switching or dark switching modes, providing versatility to adapt to different system requirements. The switching frequency is 500 Hz, with a response time of 1 ms, ensuring quick and accurate switching even in high-speed operations. The Teach button feature enables easy sensitivity adjustment, allowing the sensor to be fine-tuned to specific detection needs.

The Leuze PRK318B/4P Photoelectric Sensor operates with a voltage supply range of 10-30 V DC and is connected via a 2,000 mm PUR cable with a 4-wire configuration. The housing is made from durable ABS plastic, and the IP67 protection rating ensures the sensor is resistant to dust and water, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.
