The PASMA Combined Low-Level Access & Towers for Users course provides comprehensive training for individuals who need to safely work with both mobile access towers and low-level access equipment such as podiums and folding platforms. This course delivers two recognised PASMA qualifications in a single day, making it an efficient option for operatives working across a variety of environments.
Learners gain the knowledge and practical skills required to assemble, dismantle, move, inspect and safely use access equipment in accordance with current legislation, industry standards and manufacturer guidance. The course combines classroom-based theory with hands-on practical training to ensure competence in real workplace scenarios.
Training focuses on hazard awareness, risk control and safe working practices, helping to reduce the risk of falls and improve compliance with working at height regulations across construction, maintenance and facilities environments.
This course is suitable for operatives, technicians and anyone responsible for using, assembling or inspecting mobile access towers and low-level access equipment in the workplace, including construction workers, maintenance staff and facilities teams.
Delegates complete both a theory-based assessment and practical evaluation. Successful candidates receive PASMA-accredited certification covering Towers for Users and Low-Level Access, typically valid for five years.
This is a one-day course, usually delivered over approximately 6–8 hours of combined theory and practical training.
There are no formal prerequisites, although learners should be physically capable of working at height and able to understand safety instructions.
