Swirling, delicate engraving adds a lovely softness to the rectangular shape of this sweet old locket. This keepsake has been deeply personalized - the outside has the letters A J P engraved in the corner (likely the monogram for the initials APJ, but easily read either way), while the inside still contains the images of a young man and a young woman. These photos could be swapped out, though there's something a little heartwarming about them still being together after all this time.

Made in 9k gold front and back, which is common in antique lockets and what it sounds like - the front and back plates are gold, while the interiors and mechanics are of base metal. There's a slight colour difference, with the front and back plate a little warmer with a pinky hue, but the colour difference is less pronounced in person than in the images.
