Bridgerton style meets the softer side of Maximalism in this antique Persian Tabriz rug. The highly decorative floral design and soft pastel colors woven into this piece work together creating a look of refined nostalgia. Taking center stage is a purple lobed medallion decorated with florals and anchored with palmette pendants at either end. An allover pattern composed of stylized florals, hyacinth blossoms, leafy tendrils, rosettes, and floral sprigs cover the field. The soft color palette and delicate hues appear in chintz floral designs, tendrils and blossoms throughout the field emanating from the ornate corner spandrels. It is framed with a floral palemtte border and an inner floral meandering guard border with subsidiary sawtooth guard stripes.
