Our saltwater fish hook remover is a workhorse. The 4" handle is made from solid round bar Aluminum and is Anodized. The remover rod is Stainless Steel with a thick .2375" diameter. We thread the rod and handle then bond both together for a very strong fit. No spinning or slipping with this hook remover. There is nothing flimsy about this tool.
