Stone Spring is part of a joint project between one of our favourite Australian winemakers Xavier Goodridge and importer Les Caves de Pyrene, who wanted to produce a range of Australian wines where great care has been taken to source quality fruit and distribute them to the market at exceptional value. Here. Shiraz grapes come from the Chaff Mill block of the Knights Vineyard, managed by Stuart Knights, son of esteemed Barossa viticulturalist Geoff Knights. Sustainably farmed, they undervine cultivate instead of using any herbicides and are working to convert the whole vineyard to organic methods.

This is a delightful take on Shiraz - fresh, peppery and smooth. No filtration or fining, with just a small amount of sulphur added at bottling.
