David Beckham he's a bit like Marmite. You either love him or hate him—but its hard to ignore him.

He's not just famous for his football skills; He's also known for his fashion sense, his charity work, and his campaigns for brands like H&M and Adidas to luxury products such as watches and fragrances.

Quite simply, the guy is an icon.

I originally painted this as a gift for friend, its an expressive portrait painting—painted on my iPad, additional paint mediums were digitally mixed into the painting. It was then printed, and Gold leaf and gold spray paint were added, along with paint drips and other real textures.

The final painting has all the texture of a real oil painting, with visible brush marks and textures.

This painting would make the ideal gift for any David Beckham fan or Football fan and would look superb hanging on their wall.

I only have two copies of this work and because they are finished by hand will look slightly different from the image above.
