Custom Baby Dragons - Mossy Green and Ocean Blue (Griffindor Gruff and Solara Stardust)

This is a VERY special creation to emerge from the Emma's Bears Studio - two stunning soft sculpture baby dragons.

These darlings are made from some of our hand-dyed specialty fabric - a super soft curly kid mohair in a stunning deep ocean blue, and a batik-dyed mossy green/forest brown distressed mohair. 

Both dragons are fully 5-way jointed (head and all four limbs), so they can be placed in a standing position, but prefers to sit due to the weight of their tail. They are stuffed well with polyfill, and steel shot fill. The belly gusset and spine-spikes are sewn from a gorgeous quilting quality 100% cotton fabric in a custom printed dragon scale pattern. We've hand-pulled their toes and fingers and shaded them in pigments to complement the gorgeous multi-tonal mohair colouring. 

These adorable babies look out through a pair each of our extra large hand-painted glass eyes. We've hand-sculpted their eyelids and horns in super strong epoxy, tinting them with a shimmery metallic acrylic to throw the light in just the right dragony way.  

The petite wings have also been handmade in shimmery film and throw the light beautifully. They are fully removable (attaching with a safety pin), so can be taken off if you decide. 

These are cute one of a kind artist creations.
