Bangle Bracelets

Treasures found. Treasures kept. Palm trees and azure seas. Summertime at the wrist. Three silver bangles artfully intertwined each with its own silver shell charm.

On a trip to Thailand in a sea shell shop by the sea I saw hundreds of wind chimes made from sea shells. They were hanging from the ceiling, hanging from the walls. Touch one and the sound of shells tingled in the shade. As I stood silently in this shop with breezes sweeping in off the ocean the sound of seashells echoed through, I just knew I had to buy a seashell wind chime for my girlfriend back home.

One of the objections I’ve heard to bangle bracelets is they make sound. I’ve listened to these bracelets and although they create a faint sound, it’s barely audible. And then for all who might object to a sound from bangles there are just as many who love the motion and the sound.
