• Do I need to cut my body to install these? Yes — these are weld-in / cut-in panels. You cut a matching opening in the seal trays and weld the panel frames in place. Templates are included.

• What's the difference between the Large and standard Washburn Windows? The Large (this listing) at 11" x 7.75" is sized for dual-carb / big-engine builds. The standard size is smaller and fits stock single-carb engines.

• Will these fit a stock single-carb engine? Yes, but they're overkill. For a stock 1600cc with one carb, our standard-size Washburn Windows give you plenty of access.

• Do these come painted or coated? No — supplied in bare laser-cut steel. Paint, powder coat, or leave raw depending on your build.

• How are they sealed? The flush-fit design seals against the seal tray. We recommend a thin bead of high-temp RTV around the panel edges if you're chasing the last bit of cooling efficiency.

• Will these fit a Super Beetle? Yes — Standard and Super Beetles use the same engine tin layout.
