This is a smaller cameo measuring a little over an inch tall. It would work really well as a pendant if you lean more to wearing a necklace over a brooch. It has a fold down bail on the back that will allow you to pass a chain directly through it. It also has a pin with a safety clasp on it so it can be worn as a brooch. The Cameo is set in a yellow gold frame stamped 1/20 12K G.F.  The cameo shows a woman wearing veil of some sort. You can see the photos show a lot of darkened spots. It is antique, You can polish this up if you prefer. I do not clean antique items.  Age I put as probably 1940's -1950's makes a great gift. Comes gift boxed.
