These porcelain paintings are layered and expressive vignettes. Artist Sara Morales Morgan uses underglaze, glaze and gold luster to create richly pigmented portraits. This series, Language of Flowers, originally debuted at Alma's as a part of a group exhibition, So Much Bigger than Pretty. Since then we have been honored to host several of the pieces from this series on view in various exhibitions.
Each portrait is signed and numbered by the artist and comes with hanging cable for easy install.
