Polypropylene dry disconnect couplings are designed for connecting and disconnecting hoses and pipelines without spills or leaks. Couplings have a double ball valve design that allows maximum flow, but they cannot be uncoupled in an open position. Dry disconnect couplings work with DBA-style adapters and standard cam and groove dust plugs (Type DP) in pharmaceutical, chemical, and petroleum processing. The handles interlock, making it easy to identify which handle opens or closes first. Cam lever handles interlock each half for extra security.
