Los Siete Misterios was born from a trip the founders took in 2010. Inspired by the traditions, culture, and passion of the distilleries they visited, they embarked on connecting this "lost world" with the present time. Los Siete Misterios are a family comprised of the Founders, the Maestros Mezcaleros and the broader Oaxacan communities that work together to bring you a perfectly refined spirit. Los Siete Misterios is also committed to supporting the micro economies in which the distilleries are located.

This Mexicano mezcal is made from the Mexicano agave from the Rhodacantha family which is incredibly hard to source. As a result, after 5 years there are still less than 1000 bottles released by Los Siete Misterios. Produced using hand maceration techniques and clay pot stills puts this mezcal in the ancestral classification. We are very lucky to have it available in Australia. It is a must have.

AROMA: Vegetal notes with streaks of citrus, earth, wet stone and smoke.
TASTE: Silky smooth and sweet effortlessly transitions to spice and fruit. The spice is well balanced, not too strong, maybe cinnamon. The earthy and clay notes shine through and the finish is long and lingering.
