This adapter set enables universal diagnostic equipment to connect to closed, brand-specific motorcycle networks to establish data communication.

• OBD2 signal conversion: Mechanically and electrically convert the specific pinout of vehicle connectors to the standard 16-pin female OBD2 format, allowing standard OBD plugs to be connected.
• External power supply: Provides a constant 12V operating voltage to the connected diagnostic tester via the integrated crocodile clips when reading older motorcycles that do not supply power through the diagnostic port.
• Hardware protocol transmission: Facilitates correct wiring for flawless transmission of communication signals such as CAN High, CAN Low, and the K-line between the engine control unit and the diagnostic tester.

Special features and capabilities

The cable kit includes specific designs to make diagnostic sessions in the workshop more efficient and safer.

• Combined Y-cable layout: Bundles the commonly used 4-pin and 6-pin connectors for Harley-Davidson into one overarching adapter cable, providing the correct connector immediately without needing to switch cables.
• Integrated fuse holder: The battery clamp connection is equipped with a replaceable standard blade fuse in the positive cable. This protects both the diagnostic device and the vehicle's electrical circuit against voltage spikes and short circuits during testing.
