The Leuze ET5.3/4P is a high-performance diffuse reflection photoelectric sensor engineered for accurate object detection up to 1 meter, even with low reflectivity materials. It uses a 620 nm red LED and provides reliable detection across varying surface colors, from white (90%) at 0.7 m to black (6%) at 0.28 m, ensuring versatility in demanding environments.

With its compact form factor (14 x 32.5 x 20.2 mm), the sensor fits seamlessly into tight spaces. It features a 4-wire PNP transistor output and supports both light and dark switching modes, offering adaptability for different system logic requirements. The Teach button makes setup simple, allowing easy tuning to target materials without manual recalibration.

Rated IP67, the ET5.3/4P is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions, including temperature extremes from -40 to +60°C. A durable ABS plastic housing and PUR-sheathed cable add mechanical resilience.
