A refined little occasional or wine table from the Regency period, beautifully made in rosewood with all the elegance that era is known for. The top shows off the timber's rich figure, with dark streaking and warm amber tones running across the grain. 

It sits on a slender turned pedestal with a crisply reeded collar, splaying out into three gracefully swept legs. Tables like this were made for drawing rooms, used for candles, tea or a book close to hand. A versatile and elegant piece that works as a wine table, lamp table or bedside, equally suited to a period interior or a more contemporary setting where a touch of patina is welcome.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Some minor surface scratches to the top consistent with age and use, as expected of a piece of this period. One corner has some wear, see photos.
