EMAXplus is a protocol converter, aural alerter, and monitoring system that brings engine data to the primary display, improving safety and usability of Cirrus SR20s and SR22s with an Avidyne PFD/MFD or an early SR with an Avidyne MFD and a six-pack.

By installing SimplyFlying’s EMAXplus, Avidyne glass panels owners can upgrade to an enhanced visual and aural monitoring system.  EMAXplus not only provides improved system monitoring with instant audible messaging, but it also delivers gallons-based fuel switch management, TKS consumption timing and announcements, a seamless flight timer, and pitot caution messaging based on OAT.  In addition, it provides backup access to many engine and electrical parameters in case of MFD failure.

Applicable for all Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft with Avidyne glass cockpit avionics with SIU or DAU based EMAX engine instrumentation systems.

EASA approved.  FAA acceptance with bilateral reciprocity agreement (Sept 2017/ TIP Rev 6).  Similar agreements with Canada and Brazil.

Installation must be performed by a certified mechanic or avionics installer and is considered a minor alteration, requiring only a logbook entry.  Estimated installation time:  12 hours.

Includes a pre-configured wiring harness to save installation time.
