Blackberry Opal

Blackberry Opal is one of our very first bears for 2025!!! She has been made with two stunning hand-dyed pieces of our extra dense supercurls mohair from our December 2024 dye batch. One piece is the original ivory-white, while the other is a unique silvery-lavender colouring with subtle variating plum tips across the pile. Her contrasting cheeks are ivory alpaca and her paw pads are made in a soft faux cashmere.   

Blackberry looks out through big black glass eyes, topped with hand-sculpted eyelids and permanently inset dramatic eyelashes. Her cute little nose has also been hand embroidered in a matching DMC perle cotton and she features hand-pulled 3D hand and pad detailing. 

This darling bear is fully 5-way jointed and stuffed with a combination of polyfill, steel and glass shot. She wears an elegant botanical shaped powder-coated pendant, and a fully removable silver diamanté tiara hair clip.
