features an overlapping central lozenge with a stair-step border in variegated
shades of saffron, red and light grey. The small central medallion is anchored
by stylized floral bouquets and an evil eye symbol for protection. Four diamond
figures contrast against the spandrels. The tribal Oushak rug is framed by
serrated leaf border in fall colors and enclosed by two thin band composed of
repeating stylized floral roundels. This vintage Oushak rug displays a classic
color palette, rectilinear tribal design and a rendered in a Caucasus style.
