The Julie Ford/Mazda | IMMO OFF | Emulator is an electronic module designed for the permanent deactivation of the original IMMO system in specific Ford and Mazda vehicles. The primary function is to replace the signal of the factory immobilizer, releasing the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and allowing the engine to start. This is applied during diagnosis or repair when the original immobilizer components, such as the transponder key or the receiver module, are defective and cause a start lock.
The emulator is compatible with a range of ECU types, including Siemens SID, Visteon DCU, and certain Bosch EDC systems used in Ford and Mazda models. Installation of the Julie Ford/Mazda | IMMO OFF | Emulator is intended solely for testing and workshop purposes. Permanently deactivating the IMMO system may reduce the vehicle's theft protection and may be subject to legal restrictions. Use requires technical knowledge of vehicle electronics and the associated control units.
The Julie Ford/Mazda emulator is a specialized module for diagnosis, testing, and repair of immobilizer systems in specific Ford and Mazda vehicles. The module is used to replace the functionality of the original immobilizer system (IMMO).
Installation usually requires a modification in the memory (EEPROM or FLASH) of the ECU. Permanently disabling the immobilizer system can reduce the vehicle's theft protection and is intended solely for diagnostic and repair use by qualified professionals.
The Julie Ford | Mazda IMMO OFF Emulator is designed for use with Ford and Mazda vehicles with various engine control units (ECUs). The emulator supports both CAN-bus and K-line communication and is suitable for different immobilizer systems depending on the vehicle type and ECU configuration.
The application is divided into five groups, each with specific ECU types and conditions.
1. Ford with immo module in the dashboard
This version is suitable for Ford vehicles where the immobilizer is located in the dashboard. The emulator works when the vehicle is equipped with a mechanical ignition lock or when only the ECU is replaced.
Supported ECUs:
Siemens SID803 / SID803A
Siemens SID206
Siemens SID202
2. Ford with immo module in BCU
In some Ford vehicles, the immobilizer is located in the BCU (Body Control Unit). In this case, the emulator can only be used for project vehicles, such as engine conversion in a race car or boat.
Supported ECU:
Visteon DCU-101
Donor vehicle:
Ford Transit
3. Ford with ABS ID and immo in BCU
This variant applies to vehicles where the immobilizer in the BCU is integrated and the ABS identification code is part of the security system. This type is also used exclusively for project Applications.
Donor vehicles:
4. Ford with PATS module and 4C transponder key
This version is suitable for older Ford models with a PATS system and 4C-type transponder key.
Supported ECUs:
Supported vehicles:
5. Mazda
This emulator supports various Mazda vehicles equipped with Denso-, Lucas- and Mitsubishi ECUs. The systems are used in both gasoline and diesel engines of compact and mid-size models from the period 1990–2010.
