Peach - Honey - Lychee

Zurab Topuridze makes his minimal intervention, organic wine in Dablatsikhe (“Lower Castle”) in the western part of Georgia, bordered by the Black Sea, with subtropical coastal lowlands to the west and the mountains in the east. He celebrates indigenous grape varieties and aims to maintain the authentic Georgian tradition of qvevri (amphora) winemaking.

Golden Blend 2022 is made from spicy Rkatsiteli, floral Khikhvi and aromatic Mtsvane grapes, which are aged for seven months in qvevri. This is super-succulent - laden with notes of zesty orange peel, honey, lychee and pineapple. These fruit notes continues on through on the finish, with mouthfuls of pear and ripe stone fruit.
