Background: This gene is a member of the protein-tyrosine kinase oncogene family. It encodes a membrane-associated tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in the control of cell growth. The protein associates with the p85 subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and interacts with the fyn-binding protein. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms exist.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of extracts of A-431 cells, using Phospho-Fyn-S21 antibody at 1:1000 dilution. HL-60 cells were treated by 10% FBS after serum-starvation overnight.

Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% BSA.
