Rwanda Kirambo Washed Coffee Beans

This coffee from Rwanda showcases the country’s exceptional growing conditions and the skill of its smallholder farmers. Grown at high altitude in rich volcanic soils and processed at the Kirambo washing station overlooking Lake Kivu, the coffee benefits from careful cherry selection and slow drying on raised beds for up to 30 days. Since the washing station’s revitalisation in 2017, farmers have enjoyed consistent support and improved processing standards, resulting in beautifully crafted fully washed and natural coffees. This washed coffee has a cup profile that is bright and expressive, with notes of lemon, blackberry, nutmeg, almond, and brown sugar.

With an excellent SCA score of 85 and notes of lemon, blackberry, nutmeg almond and brown sugar, this fruity speciality coffee makes a fantastic cup.
