Heavy drape, delicious luxurious fabric looks and has a similar weight, look, feel and luster of a heavy soft silk- and yet it is washable. Perfect to pack for travels where you may need a delightful & dressy item.

This fabric is breathable and excellent for temperature regulation, keeping one cool or warm depending on the season due to the moisture absorbed by the fibers! This property also makes it non static-y and luxurious to the touch.

Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fiber made from the downy fibers that are attached to the cottonseed and are too small to spin.  It is a plant based material ( cellulose) that is processed using chemicals to create  produce the fabric. it is known as a semi-synthetic fiber. This cupro is also fully biodegradable.  A very interesting fiber!

The wonderful thing about this particular cupro is that is is thick and luxurious, heavy and very drapey and silk-like; yet is washable and resists wrinkles!  This fabric will flow and move, it is not at all clingy. We made it in one of our very favorite styles, our crossover urchin dress.

The perfect piece for year- round special occasion dressing. We made the sleeves just past the elbow; so you can layer it over a fine mesh top for winter or wear alone in the warmer months. The color is a gorgeous rich deep blue- "Midnight!".
