Great solution to preventing Gennaker/Spinnaker lazy sheet from catching or fouling under the boat

Are you having trouble dealing with the "lazy sheet" (loose sheet not being pulled) on your Gennaker sheets? They are apt to fall into the water, or in the worst case, get run over and or tangled up in the propeller. This Lazy Sheet Retainer is a convenient item that solves all of these problems, with its T-shaped body. This can be fully opened with the Velcro and can be secured to stanchions and lifelines. When opened for use the "arm" will sit at 45 degrees and can catch the lazy sheet. If you want to really secure it you can flip up the tab that holds the "arm" open and secure the sheet between the tab and the arm. Of course, if tension is applied to the sheet during jibing, the arm will release and the Gennaker sheet can be freely sheeted. This product is most effective when used in sets of several on both the port and starboard stanchions of the boat.
