Description

Lozenges containing dextromethorphan, cetylpyridinium chloride, benzocaine, and menthol for the relief of dry cough symptoms, sore throat discomfort, and nasal stuffiness. Suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients (per lozenge)

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Monohydrate 5 mg

• Cetylpyridinium Chloride 1.3 mg

• Benzocaine 1 mg

• Menthol 5.2 mg

Directions for Use

Adults and children 12 years and over

• 2 lozenges (one at a time) every 3 hours as required

• Maximum 16 lozenges in 24 hours

Children 6–11 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse practitioner)

• 1 lozenge every 3 hours as required

• Maximum 8 lozenges in 24 hours

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Store below 30°C.

Warnings

Do not use:

• If you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or antidepressant medication, or have taken one within the previous two weeks

• In children under 6 years of age

• If the seal is broken

• After the expiry date

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in children aged 6–11 years.

While using this medicine:

• Avoid hot food or drinks immediately after taking a lozenge due to the anaesthetic effect

• If symptoms persist, seek medical advice
