Omron EE-SX951-R Photo Micro Sensor

The Omron EE-SX951-R Micro Sensor is a through-beam photo microsensor designed for precise and reliable object detection in a wide range of industrial applications. It features a grooved type (L-shaped) design with a slot width of 5 mm, making it suitable for detecting small, opaque objects with a minimum size of 1.8 x 0.8 mm. The sensor operates with both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and utilizes a non-modulated infrared LED light source with a peak wavelength of 940 nm for accurate sensing.

The Omron EE-SX951-R Micro Sensor offers NPN open collector output with a load current of up to 50 mA, and short-circuit protection to ensure reliable operation in demanding environments. The sensor’s response frequency is excellent, with a minimum of 1 kHz and an average of 3 kHz, allowing it to handle high-speed detection tasks effectively.

Built for industrial settings, this sensor boasts an IP50 rating, providing protection against dust and moderate environmental conditions. With an operating temperature range from -25 to +55°C and a storage range from -30 to +80°C, the EE-SX951-R is durable and reliable in various harsh conditions.
