This is an antique Japanese cultured saltwater akoya pearl double strand necklace.

The pearls measure 3.00-7.00mm with great luster and light rosy overtones. Light amount of natural blemishes. Most pearls are round but some are slightly baroque.

The clasp is solid sterling silver and is a simple box style with milgrain details and paste stones. None are missing but a few have discolored due to age. Paste is a type of vintage glass popular in the early 1900's. It is stamped "STERLING". Total length is 18.00 & 19.00 inch.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
