The Reverse Light Insert V2 Overlay for the 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent is a very unique product. Rather than completely smoking out your clear reverse light piece you can use this overlay to darken up area but still have OEM Light output. It is a perfect addition to the Tail Light Chrome Delete Vinyl Overlay that is also gloss black and flows into this overlay effortlessly. It looks great by itself but when pair with our other products you can make your tail lights really stand out. Products best coupled with this overlay include the Tail Light Chrome Delete Overlay, Turn Signal Overlay, as well as the Trunk Trim Chrome delete. This Product comes with a driver and passenger side overlay

TRIMMING REQUIRED

This product is designed with excess around the inner edge to ensure that you are able to tuck the material around the edge of the taillight nearest to the edge of the rear hatch, to give you the cleanest looking end result. This does mean that some trimming is required because we gave enough excess material not only for you to be able to tuck the overlay but also to conform the product around the edge. Premium only uses the highest quality cast vinyl on the market designed to last at least 3 years of harsh outdoor weather. It's far more durable than our competitors' cheap, calendared vinyl film which starts to degrade in just a couple of years!

APPLICATION.

Starting with a clean surface is a must. We recommend installing indoors on a cool day. If your car has been sitting outside in the heat, pull it into a garage or shaded area, away from air borne debris, where the surface can decrease in temperature until it's cool to the touch. We recommend wiping the surface clean with alcohol and a microfiber towel. Lining up the outer corners of this overlay to ensure coverage of the clear part of the lens is a must. Don't worry there's enough excess on this overlay for vinyl to conform around the inner edge of the light closest to the hatch. Using some heat a squeegee and a sharp blade is definitely recommended for this install.
