The Mountain Equipment Superflux Jacket is a synthetically insulated jacket for providing excellent all weather warmth and protection. Suitable as an outer or midlayer depending on the conditions.

The Drilite Loft outer fabric is windproof and highly water resistant. The Polarloft featherless insulation by 3M is contained in a stitch through quilted construction in the body. This synthetic insulation is designed to behave and work like down, this means that it is filled loose rather than bonded to the fabric as with traditional insulation. This enables it to provide more warmth vs weight along with better breathability and most importantly it benefits from losing no less performance when it gets wet.

The Shoulder Shield construction means that there are no seams over the shoulder and arm areas, this is a benefit as it minimises heat loss and water entry. The hood is adjustable and elastane bound, fitting neatly under a helmet. One of the hand warmer pockets doubles up as an integrated stuff sack and with twin carabiner clips inside you can easily clip it to your harness. There's also an internal zipped pocket for keeping valuable items tucked away in. To prevent drafts the cuffs are elastane bound and the hem features dual tether drawcords.
