All engine blocks go through a scrutinizing process to ensure all tolerances are above OEM AMG standard. These are the follows steps taken to validate the engine block.
- Deck Height and Machining of Deck
- Check Line Hone
- Physical and Chemical Check for any Imperfections or Cracks
- Machine and Install Darton Sleeves
- Electro & Vibration Check for Sleeve Sink
- Precision Hone to exact sizes down to the .00001"
- Line Hone Check & Hone down to the .00001"
