Gloria lives in Kari Town in Uganda with her parents and two brothers in their three-bedroom home. Straight away after Gloria finished her High School her father Ray insisted that she marries Simon, a local furniture shop owner. Both her parents and two brothers insisted that Simon is a good man, and would make her happy, despite Gloria’s utter refusal they all insisted on persuading her she was ready for marriage. Then Gloria made a small mistake that jeopardized her family’s reputation, and the circumstances forced her to wed Simon. After living with Simon for a while and taking the time to know him, Gloria learned to love and respect him and finally found happiness and freedom that she desperately needed in her life… But there was more disasters to come for Gloria.
