This Standard Magnetic Detacher is designed to work with most Checkpoint-style tags and some Sensormatic tags that utilize magnetic release. Due to its compact size, it must be securely attached to your retail counter to prevent it from being misplaced or stolen. For optimal security, we recommend retailers have at least two detachers on hand—one at each cash register and another in the stockroom or office—to avoid disruptions if one is lost.
