This live online course is delivered by a NEBOSH-approved tutor via video conferencing, combining the management principles of Unit IG1 with the practical risk assessment skills of Unit IG2.
Delivered live online by an experienced tutor over video conferencing software, across two teaching weeks followed by an open book exam.
IG1 – Management of Health and Safety
IG2 – Risk Assessment
The course is delivered over two teaching weeks, followed by the Open Book Examination for IG1. The IG2 practical risk assessment is completed in the delegate's own workplace after the taught sessions.
IG1 is assessed by a five-hour open book examination. IG2 is assessed by a practical risk assessment carried out at the delegate's workplace and submitted for marking. Both units must be passed to achieve the full qualification.
Successful candidates receive the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, recognised by employers worldwide and supporting progression to Associate or Technician membership of IOSH (AIOSH/TechIOSH) and Associate membership of IIRSM (AIIRSM).
