Shopping security
The self adhesive library pocket is used in library applications. The pocket hides the 1 1/2" or 2" 8.2 or 9.5 MHz security label. The label goes on first then the book pocket is placed over it. The books are placed on the shelf that way. If a student or patron tried to leave the library through the security pillars, they will light up and make an alarm sound.
To check a book out, the library personnel would need to put a date due detuning card in the library pocket. This would allow the person to leave the library with the book. When the book is returned, the date due detuning card would be taken out and the book would be returned to its shelf. Once the card is taken out, the tag is active again.
