A Japanese ceramic ikebana vessel in an elongated leaf or navette form, raised on two feet. The surface is deeply sculpted with flowing wave-like ridges that run the length of the piece, creating a series of channels and hollows. The whole thing is covered in a warm caramel and beige crackle glaze, with the crazing picking up the darker tones of the clay beneath and giving the surface an almost geological quality.

Stamped 1111 on the base, likely a shape or mould number.

Condition: Appears perfect. No chips, cracks beyond the intentional crackle glaze.
